MAP System speeds installation of wall panels

Marlite’s pre-engineered MAP (Mechanically Applied Panel) System, a patented clip and hardware application method, simplifies and speeds installation – a proven way to install thick or heavy panels easier and safer than ever before. Surface Systems can also feature a flexible horizontal cross spline that provides convex and concave curves with a minimum 9’ radius and seamless transition from straight to curved walls.

Horizontal main rails fasten with screws to the subwall. Clips, pre-applied to specially machined panels, attach to the main rail. Vertical cross splines then lock adjacent panels together.

Marlite adhesive application of thinner wall panels

When thinner panels are called for (1/4” thick), often for columns and renovations, Marlite’s simple application method involves horizontal mainrunners and vertical cross runners attached to the subwall – with the panels applied using adhesive. C-702 Marlite Premium Adhesive required (available in 29 oz. cartridges).
